Aledo Alert is the City of Aledo's free emergency notification system, providing timely information during emergencies and other situations that may affect our community.

Residents can receive alerts about severe weather, public safety incidents, major road closures, utility disruptions and other important notifications by text message, email or phone call. You choose how you want to be notified and can update your preferences at any time.

When You'll Receive Alerts

Aledo Alert is used only when information is important to your safety or may significantly impact your daily routine. Examples include:

  • Severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service
  • Flooding and flash flooding
  • Tornado and severe thunderstorm watches and warnings
  • Critical utility outages
  • Major road closures
  • Public safety incidents
  • Emergency response information

In certain emergency situations, the City may require recipients to confirm they received an alert to help ensure critical information has been delivered.
