Complaints
There are four ways to file a complaint against an Aledo Police Department employee:
- Call the Police Department at 817-441-7016. If no one is available, please leave a detailed message and your call will be returned.
- Email policeadmin@aledotx.gov. Upon receipt, you will be contacted regarding your complaint.
- Mail to Aledo Police Department, PO Box 1, Aledo TX 76008
- Visit the Aledo Police Department in person at 200 Old Annetta Rd, Aledo TX 76008 and request a complaint form.
Texas law requires all complaints against police officers be in writing and signed by the person making the complaint. The person who was wronged must file the complaint with the Department. A thorough investigation of your complaint will be conducted, and you will be notified of the results and action taken.
