Managing Utility Account Changes
Whether you're new to Aledo, moving within the city or preparing to move away, the Utility Billing team is here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
Use the information below to start new service, stop existing service or transfer your utility account to another address within the City.
New utility service is required when establishing water and wastewater service at a home or business within the City of Aledo. Service requests are processed during normal business hours. Please allow up to two business days for processing.
RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS: To begin service, please complete a Residential Utility Service Application and provide any required documentation.
COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS: Please fill out a Commercial Utility Service Application and email to utilitybilling@aledotx.gov or deliver in-person at 200 Old Annetta Rd..
REQUIRED: A current commercial lease, signed closing disclosure or proof of Parker County ownership.
Before You Apply
Please have the following information available:
- Valid government-issued photo identification
- Service address
- Requested service start date
- Lease agreement or proof of ownership, if required
- Any applicable deposits or service fees
If you're moving from one address to another within the City of Aledo, you may be able to transfer your utility account.
To request a transfer, please fill out this form and email to utilitybilling@aledotx.gov or deliver in-person at the Utility Billing desk at 200 Old Annetta Rd.
REQUIRED: Proof of lease or closing disclosure and a driver’s license for transferring from one address to another.
If you're moving out of Aledo or no longer need utility service, please fill out this form and email to utilitybilling@aledotx.gov or deliver in-person at the Utility Billing desk at 200 Old Annetta Rd.
Providing advance notice helps ensure your final bill is accurate and service is disconnected on the date you request.
