The City of Aledo follows a mandatory year-round watering schedule to help manage water resources and ensure reliable service for our growing community.
Residents and businesses must follow the schedule below when watering lawns and landscapes. Following the designated watering days helps conserve water and supports responsible use of the City's water system.

Monday
No outdoor watering allowed.
Tuesday & Friday
Non-residential locations
Wednesday & Saturday
Addresses ending in 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8
Thursday & Sunday
Addresses ending in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9
Watering Guidelines
When watering outdoors:
- Outdoor watering is not allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Handheld hoses, drip irrigation and soaker hoses may be used at any time.
- Watering that causes runoff onto streets, sidewalks, driveways or other hard surfaces is prohibited.
- Do not water during rainfall.
- Repair leaks and broken irrigation components promptly.
