Shaping Aledo’s Future Together
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee helps guide the development of Aledo’s long-term vision by providing community insight, reviewing recommendations and helping ensure the Comprehensive Plan reflects the priorities and goals of Aledo residents.
Appointed by City Council, the Committee works alongside City staff, consultants and the community throughout the planning process to help shape a roadmap for Aledo’s future growth, development and quality of life.
About the Committee
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee is made up of community members appointed by City Council. Members review information, provide local perspective and help evaluate recommendations related to the topics that will shape Aledo’s future.
Through their work, the Committee helps ensure the Comprehensive Plan represents the needs, values and vision of the community.
Meetings
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee meets regularly throughout the Comprehensive Plan process. Meeting dates, times and locations are posted on the City calendar and the Comprehensive Plan website. Meetings are open to the public.
