Honoring Aledo’s Veterans
The Veterans Advisory Committee helps honor and support Aledo’s veteran community by advising City Council on veteran-related needs, promoting events and identifying opportunities to recognize the service and sacrifice of those who have served.
About the Committee
The Veterans Advisory Committee was established in October 2023 and is made up of seven community members appointed by the Aledo City Council. Members serve two-year terms and provide guidance on initiatives that support veterans and strengthen the connection between veterans and the Aledo community.
Preference is given to applicants who have served in the United States military or have an in-depth understanding of military-related concerns.
