Bailey Ranch Road Repair and Reconstruction

The city has conducted a thorough investigation of the pavement failures on Bailey Ranch Road and has taken steps to resolve the issues. There are two distinct areas and different recommendations for each. These are shown below.

Section 1, shown in green, will require a complete reconstruction of the road. The design process was underway after the City Council awarded a professional services agreement to Halff Associates on June 24, 2021. The design and bidding phase will take approximately ten months and construction is expected to begin late spring. Construction will take approximately nine months and should be completed early 2023.

Section 2, shown in blue, will involve the evaluation and replacement of panels as needed. The design part of the project is underway. Construction/panel replacement should be in progress by late 2021/early 2022. Section 2 is expected to be completed before construction starts on Section 1.

The city is mindful of the disruption related to road repairs and will take all possible steps to minimize the inconvenience to drivers. Traffic will be diverted to alternate routes during construction and residents, school traffic and businesses will always be able to reach to their destination.
