Veterans Plaza - Donation Opportunities Available

Veterans Plaza was completed and dedicated on November 11, 2016 (Veterans Day) in Aledo Commons Park across from City Hall.

The design features a 35’ round concrete pad with the interior filled with inscribed pavestones honoring each veteran. The granite monument is at the center with a 5 pointed star extending in contrasting pave stones from the granite pentagon obelisk towards each of 5 grey granite benches at the perimeter. Antique red pave stones surround the star to fill the circle of Honor. The Plaza features 3 lighted flag poles on the East side of the Plaza with the US, Texas, and POW MIA flags.
