SUMMER BLAST CANCELED

This is not the update we hoped to share.

Due to ongoing lightning and weather conditions that are expected to remain in the area for the next several hours, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Summer Blast.

The safety of our residents, visitors, vendors, performers, event partners, sponsors, volunteers and staff must come first. While we know this news is disappointing, the forecast does not provide a safe window to move forward with tonight's event.

We are heartbroken. So many people have poured countless hours into planning this celebration, and we know so many families were looking forward to spending the evening together.

We want to sincerely thank our sponsors, vendors, performers, volunteers, public safety personnel and city staff who worked so hard to make this event possible and hung tight while we navigated the forecast. Most importantly, thank you to our community for your excitement, support and understanding.

We share in your disappointment and are already exploring ways to celebrate together again in the future.
