Standards for Development and Infrastructure in Aledo
The City of Aledo’s Design Standards provide technical requirements and standard details for the design and construction of public infrastructure and improvements within the City.
These standards are intended to provide consistent requirements for development projects and public improvements, helping ensure infrastructure is designed, constructed and maintained to meet the City’s expectations.
The manual includes standards and details for streets, sidewalks, drainage, sanitary sewer, water infrastructure, street lighting and franchise utilities, along with other requirements related to development and public improvements.
Design Standards Manual
The current Design Standards Manual was revised in April 2026 and includes standard construction details and technical requirements for use by developers, engineers, contractors and other professionals working on projects within Aledo.
The manual should be used in conjunction with the City’s Unified Development Code and other applicable City requirements.
