The Aledo Municipal Court handles Class C misdemeanor cases that occur within the city limits, including most traffic citations and City ordinance violations filed by the Aledo Police Department, Code Enforcement and other authorized enforcement officers.

Your Responsibility to Appear for Your Citation
Know Your Exact Appearance DateYou must contact the Court no later than 20 days after receiving your citation. This is considered your "Appearance Date."
Citation Payment Information
Please allow at least 3 business days before contacting the Court - this allows time for citations to be processed by our Staff. Once your citation has been processed, you may pay the fine or request a court date.
Failure to Appear on or Before Your Appearance Date
Failure to contact the court within 20 days of receiving your citation could result in a warrant for your arrest, as well as additional charges for Failure to Appear or Violate Promise to Appear. A request will be sent to the Texas Department of Public Safety for the denial of your driver's license renewal.
