Water Services Virtual Information Meeting

Water Services Virtual Information Meeting

On Thursday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m., the City of Aledo will host a virtual information meeting to inform customers about:

  • water and wastewater system challenges and costs;
  • how Aledo purchases water and what goes into water rates;
  • progress and benefits of the new automated meters;
  • how the new online customer portal will help customers;
  • water use, drought and conservation; and
  • the independent audit underway to identify process improvements – from metering to billing and payments.

The virtual format will give customers the opportunity to watch and participate in the meeting from a location of your choice. The meeting will be recorded and posted online for future viewing. Participants will be able to submit questions throughout the meeting and staff will direct those questions to the appropriate speaker/expert to address. The City will also create a Questions and Answers document from the questions during the meeting for posting online.
