Aledo Alert
Aledo Alert is the City of Aledo's free emergency notification system. Get severe weather updates straight from the National Weather Service and receive critical alerts from the City during public safety situations, major road closures, utility disruptions and other incidents that may affect our community. You choose how you want to be contacted and can update your preferences anytime.
How It Works
When a notification is issued about a potential safety hazard or concern, you will receive a message via the communication methods that you have selected.
In a limited number of emergency situations, the City may choose to require that recipients confirm receipt of the alert. The alert will continue to send until confirmation has been sent received.
If you do not confirm, the system will continue to attempt to reach you at all of the contact paths that you have registered.
Severe weather updates are sent by the National Weather Service automatically.

When will it be used?
This system will be used to notify you about imminent threats to health and safety as well as informational notifications that affect your locations or work environments. Administrators will send notifications regarding severe weather, flooding, gas leaks, police activity and more.

- Unexpected Street Closure

- This includes disruption of service to water, wastewater, solid waste and power
What if my phone number or email address changes?
The system is only as good as the information you provide. If your contact information changes, you can always visit your profile and update your information.
Will my contact information be shared with others?
No. The information that you provide will be used only for this Organization for notification purposes. We will not give or sell your contact or location information to any vendor or other organization.
