BOIL WATER NOTICE RESCINDED – Water Safe for Consumption

Dear Aledo Resident,

The City of Aledo has rescinded the Boil Water Notice originally issued on July 8, 2026.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the City of Aledo Public Water System (TX1840001) to issue the notice following conditions within the public water system that required water to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The City has completed the necessary corrective actions and provided TCEQ with laboratory test results confirming that the water is safe and no longer requires boiling prior to use as of July 10, 2026.

Residents may resume normal water use.
