Aledo Police Department Welcomes New Officer

The Aledo Police Department welcomed Officer David J. Griesinger as he officially joined the department after being sworn in during a special ceremony on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Officer Griesinger is a retired Grand Prairie Police Department officer and Parker County resident who brings extensive experience along with a strong commitment to service and community.

With his addition, APD now has six authorized officers, including Chief Carol L. Riddle, reflecting the department’s continued growth and investment in public safety.

We are glad to welcome Officer Griesinger to Aledo and look forward to the experience and dedication he brings to our community.
